Medicinal Organic Cannabis Australia was established in 2017 with an international perspective from the beginning.

Over its history, MOCA has developed relationships and participated in projects and commercial initiatives involving organisations in Australia and overseas.

These experiences have contributed to our understanding of international supply chains, regulatory environments, cultivation, manufacturing and the development of emerging medicinal cannabis markets.

From Australia to the World

Australia remains the foundation of MOCA's current operations.

Our long-term ambition, however, extends beyond the Australian market.

We are interested in developing relationships with organisations internationally that share our commitment to quality, responsible production, organic principles and the responsible development of plant-based therapeutics.

International Partnerships

Rather than seeking to own every part of the supply chain, MOCA's approach is increasingly centred on building strong relationships with specialist organisations.

These may include cultivators, manufacturers, researchers, healthcare organisations, distributors and other industry participants.

This approach allows MOCA to combine its Australian capabilities and experience with specialist expertise and infrastructure in other markets.

Our Long-Term Direction

We see significant long-term potential for Australian-developed brands, intellectual property, digital infrastructure and industry relationships to participate in international markets.

Expansion into individual markets will be considered selectively and undertaken in accordance with the regulatory requirements applicable in each jurisdiction.

Our objective is not simply to enter more countries.

It is to build an organisation with the capabilities, relationships and infrastructure to create value internationally when the right opportunities arise.
