MOCA Santiago Blend contains the active ingredients cannabidiol (CBD) and delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in a 1:1 ratio (10 mg/mL each).
MOCA Santiago Blend is not approved for any specific indication and should only be used for conditions or symptoms prescribed by your doctor. It may be used to:
Relieve chronic non-cancer pain
Relieve cancer-related pain
Improve sleep (insomnia)
Decrease inflammation
Reduce spasticity in neurological conditions
Relieve nausea
Stimulate appetite in patients with wasting or chronic illness
Your doctor may prescribe MOCA Santiago Blend for other purposes. Ask your doctor if you have any questions about why it has been prescribed to you.
The benefit of MOCA Santiago Blend may vary between individuals.
This medicine is available only with a doctor’s prescription.
Warnings
Do not use MOCA Santiago Blend if:
You are allergic to cannabis, cannabinoids, or any of the ingredients listed in Section 7 (Product details).
You are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding (THC may pass into breast milk).
Check with your doctor before using MOCA Santiago Blend if you have any of the following conditions:
Liver disease
Kidney problems
Heart disease
Gastrointestinal obstruction
History of psychotic or psychiatric disorders
Substance abuse disorder
Any other medical conditions
Special populations
Children and adolescents: safety and efficacy have not been well-established in those under 18 years.
Elderly: dose adjustments may be required due to altered metabolism.
Cannabis-based products can interact with many medications via the cytochrome P450 enzyme system. Such interactions may increase side-effects, reduce effectiveness, or produce unexpected reactions.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, including over-the-counter (OTC) medications, supplements, or herbal remedies.
Particular caution is needed if used concomitantly with:
Central nervous system depressants (e.g. benzodiazepines, opioids, sleep medications)
Antidepressants and mood stabilisers (SSRIs, SNRIs, TCAs, MAOIs)
Blood thinners / anticoagulants
Cardiovascular medications (beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers, ACE inhibitors)
Anti-seizure medications
Immunosuppressants
Diabetes medications
Antipsychotics
Avoid combining MOCA Santiago Blend with alcohol, as effects may potentiate each other.
How much to take / use
Always follow the directions given by your doctor. Your doctor may prescribe a titration schedule.
Start with a low dose and gradually adjust upward until you reach an effective dose with tolerable side-effects.
Your doctor may increase your dosage over time to find the optimal balance of efficacy and safety.
When to take / use
You may take MOCA Santiago Blend before or after food, as directed by your doctor.
It is important to take doses at consistent times daily (as per prescription).
How to use
Use an oral dropper to deliver the dose sublingually (under the tongue), or as otherwise instructed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Hold under the tongue for a recommended duration (e.g. 30–60 seconds) before swallowing (if that is the route your practitioner prescribes).
Do not change the dose or stop abruptly without consulting your doctor.
If you miss a dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember (unless it is very close to the time of your next dose).
Do not double up to make up for a missed dose.
If you use too much
If overdose is suspected, contact your doctor, the Poisons Information Centre (e.g. 13 11 26 in Australia), or go to the nearest emergency department immediately, even if you feel well.
Things you should do
Take as prescribed.
Inform all healthcare providers (doctors, dentists, pharmacists) that you are using MOCA Santiago Blend.
Be cautious using alcohol; avoid or limit its use.
Monitor for side effects, particular after dose changes.
Avoid abrupt cessation without medical supervision.
Things you should not do
Do not drive or operate heavy machinery while using MOCA Santiago Blend, as THC may impair cognition, motor coordination, and reaction time.
Do not give your medication to someone else.
Do not use this medication beyond its expiry date.
Do not use this medicine for other complaints unless prescribed.
Storage
Keep MOCA Santiago Blend in its original packaging until use.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat.
Keep out of reach of children.
Travel considerations
When travelling within Australia, carry your prescription and documentation.
Keep the medicine in its dispensed packaging.
Be aware of state/territory legislation regarding medical cannabis and driving laws (THC is a controlled substance; driving with THC in your system can lead to legal consequences, even if prescribed).
International travel with cannabis products may be illegal; check local laws at destinations and transit countries.
All medicines may cause side effects. Many are mild and temporary, but some may be serious.

Drowsiness or daytime sleepiness
Dizziness
Fatigue
Dry mouth
Dry eyes
Headache
Increased appetite
Difficulty concentrating
Nausea
Memory impairment
Blurred vision

Serious side effects (seek medical attention immediately)
Allergic reactions (swelling of face, lips, mouth, tongue, throat)
Difficulty breathing
Severe skin reactions (rash, blistering, peeling)
Rapid heartbeat, chest pain, hypotension
Confusion, psychosis, hallucinations
Seizures, loss of coordination
Thoughts of self-harm or suicide
Other unexpected symptoms

What MOCA Santiago Blend looks like
A transparent to slightly amber-coloured oil in a 30 mL amber glass or suitable container designed to protect from light.
Supplied with a calibrated dropper (e.g. 1 mL dropper) for dosing.
