Preparing Cannabis Tea

Making medical cannabis tea is a straightforward process, but it requires attention to detail to ensure the active compounds (CBD and THC) are properly infused into the liquid for maximum therapeutic benefit. 

Follow these instructions:

Choose from: ◦ Coconut oil (1–2 tsp) ◦ Butter or ghee (1–2 tsp) ◦ Full-fat milk (1/4 cup)

Decarboxylation (if using raw cannabis flower) is a necessary step to activate THC and CBD in raw cannabis flower. Skip this step if using oils or tinctures.

Dosage Tips • Always start with a small dose, especially if you are new to medical cannabis. 

Effects can take 30– 90 minutes to appear and may last for several hours.

Storage

If you make extra tea, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently before drinking.
